Responsible for conceptualizing and creating set designs that align with the artistic and technical vision of a production. Collaborates closely with directors, producers, costume designers, and lighting technicians to ensure aesthetic consistency and functionality. Develops detailed sketches, models, or digital renderings that guide construction teams in building sets. Monitors the execution of set construction to ensure adherence to safety standards, budgets, and timelines. Makes adjustments during rehearsals or shooting to improve functionality and visual impact. Ensures all designs balance creativity with practicality, while supporting the overall storytelling process.
